If it is a bug, the two things that help most are which device you are on and what you had just done. If it is about a purchase, see the note at the bottom of this page first.
Questions that come up
Nothing is happening. Is it broken?
Probably not — it is an idle game, and the early minutes are deliberately slow. Your siege weapons are firing at the wall on their own; the readout under the castle tells you how long is left. If you want to speed it up, tap Volley, which is free and always available.
A building has stopped.
It has filled up. A building holds about forty seconds of its own output and then waits for someone to carry it away — tap it, or tap Collect at the bottom of the holding. To stop having to: hire a steward on that building's row and it will collect itself from then on, including while the app is closed.
Something says "running out" in red.
That resource is the thing holding your chain up: everything being made of it is spent the instant it arrives. The figure underneath tells you how much more the chain would take if it could get it. Widen whatever produces it.
Where is the shop?
In the world, not in a menu. Tap Enter, then the war chest in the bottom-left of your holding's yard — the wooden chest with a gold badge over it. There is a free chest there every four hours as well as the paid ones.
My army will not march.
A march costs an army and the siege train that walks with it, so both have to be raised before you can leave. The map names what you are short of. Only one army can be on the road at a time.
Can I get my progress onto a new phone?
Not in this version. Your campaign is saved on the device and there is no account to carry it. This is honest rather than ideal, and it is the thing most likely to change in an update.
I lost my progress.
Deleting the app deletes the save — there is no copy anywhere else, because nothing about your game is ever sent off the device. If the app was not deleted and the campaign is still gone, please write: that would be a bug and worth fixing quickly.
Purchases
The three gold purchases are consumables, sold and processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us — reportaproblem.apple.com is the place for those.
If you paid for gold and it did not arrive, please write. The app is built so that an interrupted purchase is delivered the next time it opens rather than being lost, so this should be recoverable.
Accessibility
Text scales with the system text size, and turning on Reduce Motion stops the world moving without stopping the game — buildings carry on producing while the picture holds still. If something is hard to use, that is worth an email; it will get taken seriously.
